Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
Although laser hair removal effectively delays hair growth for long periods, it usually doesn't result in permanent hair removal. Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well. Laser hair removal is most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair, but it can be successfully used on all skin types.

Diode Laser: Diode laser is the most popular hair removal technology. It uses a light beam to target specific areas of the skin with unwanted hair. The hair follicle and the melanin pigments contained in them are chromophores, i.e. absorb light energy. The laser emits a beam of light that passes through the epidermis and is swallowed by melanin. When this happens, follicles get very hot. This heat damages them from the first session. After sufficiently repeated exposure (from 6 to 12 procedures), most of the hair follicles contained in the skin are completely destroyed.

Sharplight (Nd Yag , IPL) :

During treatment, a light beam penetrates the sub-dermal skin layer and is absorbed by the melanin pigment in the hair follicle. The energy is powerful enough to denaturize the hair follicle and inhibit future hair growth, yet gentle enough to leave the surrounding tissue unharmed.

Laser hair removal uses a combination of heat and energy to destroy the hair follicle without harming the skin around it. The Aerolase Neo Elite laser offers patients a uniquely pain-free and gentle way to get rid of any unwanted hair. Most patients who have been treated by other lasers say that being treated with the Aerolase Neo Elite is much gentler and more pleasant. During laser hair removal, the hair must be in its growing phase in order to be successfully destroyed. To ensure that all hair is effectively removed during the growing phase, you will receive a series of treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. This will successfully ensure maximum results.
